Nathaniel Bassey is a Nigerian gospel musician, singer, songwriter, trumpeter, and music producer. He was born on August 27, 1978, in Lagos, Nigeria. Bassey is known for his unique style of music that blends contemporary gospel with traditional African rhythms and instruments.
He is popularly known for his hit songs such as “Imela”, “Onise Iyanu”, “Olowogbogboro”, “Alagbada Ina”, “Hallelujah Eh”, and “The Champion”. Bassey is also the convener of the popular gospel concert “The Hallelujah Challenge”, which has been attended by millions of people around the world.
With several albums to his credit, Bassey is one of the most influential and successful gospel artists in Nigeria and has inspired a generation of young musicians.
